ECU Business student makes national finals

Michael Salinas was awarded the WA Business Person of the year by Young Achievement Australia (YAA). Michael went on to represent WA and ECU at the YAA national awards that were held in Sydney on the night of November 26th at The Westin. Full Story >>

Marilyn Clark-Murphy joins Finsia’s Consumer Advisory Group

We are pleased to announce that Dr Clark-Murphy has been invited to join one of Finsia’s new advisory groups: Consumer Finance. Innovation gives cause for celebration

The Innovation Lab is a joint initiative by the City of Wanneroo and Edith Cowan University. The initiative encourages local businesses to team with students from the Faculty of Business & Law to work together on new business ideas.

This semester there has been almost 130 students participating in the Innovation Lab, working with six local businesses on marketing strategies and business plans. Full Story >>


My High School Restaurant Rules Competition Winners

This competition is organised by the Faculty of Business and Law at Edith Cowan University (ECU). The final was held at Degrees Brewery Restaurant at the Joondalup Campus. The competition gives local high school students first-hand experience in running their own restaurant and students are assessed on their business planning and execution skills. Full Story >>
